The films of the day
17:00 – Sala Tripcovich | For the Love of Spock
A pop culture icon and the actor who has played his role for nearly half a century, told from his son’s – Adam – point of view. For The Love Of Spock is the #tsplusf tribute to the great Leonard Nimoy. And at 3 p.m. another appointment not to be missed for the trekkies: Adam Nimoy and Terry “Jadzia” Farrell will meet the public at the Magazzino delle Idee to celebrate together the Star Trek 50th anniversary!

20:30 – Sala Tripcovich | Morgan + Opening ceremony

Morgan is the next step in human evolution. But evolution can be dangerous. What happens when the creature surpasses its creator? Produced by Ridley Scott and directed by his son Luke, a star-studded première only for the #tsplusf 2016 public.

22:45 – Sala Tripcovich | I am not a serial killer
John Cleaver, a sixteen-year-old boy, is aware of being dangerous and has always tried to keep himself good. But sometimes it is necessary to let the inner evil come out to fight a bigger outer evil.

A space mission aimed at finding a “green” world. The discovery of a space ship having a grim surprise on board. A real science-fiction pillar with ideas and suggestions predating 2001: A Space Odyssey and Alien.

Starting from Casa del Cinema di Trieste | Interno/Giorno
New itineraries to visit the sets in Trieste in the last 20 years, in buildings that are usually closed to the public. All this is possible thanks to technology, with a visor developed by IKON Productions.

16:00 – Sala ex AIAT, piazza Unità | Pulp Magazines Story – opening
Pulp is a state of mind. TS+FF travels across time till the beginning of the 20th century, in order to explore the magazines that created the main genres of the literary consciousness. Including science-fiction.

17:00 – Teatro Miela Bonawentura |Blatta – opening
The darkest, dirtiest and most oppressive corners. The gloomiest and dustiest atmospheres. This is where we are meeting, in the future. Blatta is the Alberto Ponticelli’s graphic novel showing the sceneries of a possible dystopian future. TS+FF exhibits its original tables. It is an occasion to celebrate the mini-series presented in Spazio Italia.

Invisible lovers, robots e Tyrolese shorts – Day 2
