Philosophy, Pussycats, Porn. Spiriti vampiri malesi, mammut, messaggi dallo spazio. Marziani vegetariani, scollature vertiginose, strani eventi paranormali. E una festa pazzesca oltre i confini della realtà.

Folklore: S01E03 Nobody
In un cantiere viene ritrovato il cadavere di una giovane ragazza malese. Un semplice e innocente gesto di pietà scatenerà involontariamente la furia di una Pontianak, uno spirito vampiro assetato di vendetta.
Eric Khoo, uno dei più influenti registi asiatici, firma personalmente il terzo episodio della serie Folklore, da lui prodotta per HBO.

Un giovane nerd deve calarsi nei panni dell’eroe per salvare la sua (ex?) fidanzata circondata da esseri che sembrano umani ma nascondono qualcosa di inquietante.
Un omaggio al cinema di fantascienza e di avventura anni ’70 e ’80, per una pellicola spagnola che saprà spaventarvi… ma riuscirà a strapparvi anche qualche bella risata!

Dov’è stato il padre di Peter in tutti questi anni, mentre lui lo credeva scomparso nel nulla? Un progetto scientifico, una base militare nel New Mexico e un messaggio dallo spazio profondo sono le tracce da seguire per scoprire la verità.

Genesis 2.0
Nelle Isole della Nuova Siberia viene ritrovata una carcassa di mammut eccezionalmente conservata. Scatta l’interesse di un gruppo di scienziati, che vorrebbero clonare l’animale preistorico e riportarlo alla vita nel mondo di oggi. Sembra l’inizio di una storia di finzione, invece è tutto vero: Genesis 2.0 è uno dei documentari più affascinanti e inquietanti dell’anno, cuore della sezione Future Environment del TS+FF.

Godblesscomputers’ A Trip to Mars [Himmelskibet]
Il capitano Avanti Planetaros e la sua ciurma di valorosi atterrano sul Pianeta Rosso. Con loro grande stupore, invece di ritrovarsi davanti a un branco di alieni aggressivi e feroci vengono accolti da dei festanti marziani pacifisti e vegetariani, che hanno costruito una società illuminata e vivono liberi da malattie, dolore e violenza. Riusciranno a portare anche sulla Terra un po’ della loro saggezza?
Direttamente dal 1918, uno spassoso capolavoro della fantascienza delle origini, sonorizzato dal vivo dal genio dell’elettronica Godblesscomputers.

La bellissima (e scosciatissima) fuorilegge Stella Star e il suo compagno Akton vengono arruolati dall’Imperatore dell’Universo per sventare i piani distruttivi del diabolico Conte Zahrt Arn.
Il film “cult” della fantascienza nostrana festeggia a Trieste i suoi primi quarant’anni!

La famiglia Milgram si ritrova la casa sigillata da una misteriosa sostanza. Sullo schermo della TV lampeggia, inesorabile, la scritta “Restate in casa in attesa di ulteriori istruzioni”.
Scatta una terribile e claustrofobica lotta per la sopravvivenza. Nel luogo più angosciante di tutti – a casa con mamma e papà, e nel periodo dell’anno più angosciante di tutti – le feste natalizie.
