L’icona horror Larry Fessenden torna con il suo ottavo indie di genere: un monster mash destinato a diventare un successo travolgente. Il film si presenta come il sequel di altre tre pellicole da lui scritte e dirette: la storia di vampiri Habit (1995), la sua rivisitazione del mostro di Frankenstein Depraved (2019) e la reinterpretazione dell’uomo lupo Blackout (2023). Ritroviamo il trio di mostri sotto un unico tetto umanista e inquietante, mentre uno scrittore indaga sul passato oscuro della città di Talbot Falls risvegliando la paura per i mostri che vi si nascondono. Il capitolo finale di questa quadrilogia firmata da Fessenden funziona sia come un film a sé stante, sia come il gran finale della serie.
Horror icon Larry Fessenden returns with his eighth indie genre film and it’s a monster mash destined to be a graveyard smash. Serving as a sequel to three other films he has written and directed: 1995’s vampire tale Habit, his 2019 Frankenstein Monster riff Depraved and the 2023 werewolf repurposing Blackout. Placing his trio of ghouls under one humanist and uncanny roof, a writer investigating the dark past of the town of Talbot Falls for a newspaper article stirs up fears about the lurking monsters. Fessenden’s final chapter of his quadrilogy works as a standalone event and a series finale.

Dal 1985, gestisce la Glass Eye Pix, una casa di produzione indipendente con sede a New York, con la quale ha prodotto oltre 50 film, sia horror che di altro genere, tra cui Wendy and Lucy (Kelly Reichardt, 2008), The House of the Devil (Ti West, 2009), Stake Land (Jim Mickle, 2010) e Liberty Kid (Ilya Chaiken, 2007). Come attore, Fessenden ha recitato in oltre 100 film, tra cui Killers of the Flower Moon (Martin Scorsese, 2023), I morti non muoiono (Jim Jarmusch, 2019) e Nella valle della violenza (Ti West, 2016).

Larry Fessenden was the winner of the 1997 Someone to Watch Independent Spirit Award. He is the writer and director of several critically acclaimed art-horror movies. Fessenden has operated the fiercely independent New York based production outfit Glass Eye Pix since 1985, producing over 50 movies in and out of the horror genre including Wendy and Lucy (Kelly Reichardt, 2008), The House of the Devil (Ti West, 2009), Stake Land (Jim Mickle, 2010) and Liberty Kid (Ilya Chaiken, 2007). As an actor, Fessenden has appeared in over 100 films, including Killers of The Flower Moon, (Martin Scorsese, 2023), The Dead Don’t Die (Jim Jarmusch, 2019) and In A Valley of Violence (Ti West, 2016).
