The film tells the gripping story of the life of Abdus Salam, great scientist of the twentieth century, Nobel Prize winner for Physics in 1979 and creator of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste. Through the interview with some of the great protagonists of international science, such as the Nobel Prize winner for Physics David Gross, Gerard ‘t Hooft and Steven Weinberg, the film retraces the most significant moments of one of the most creative and exciting periods in the history of physics: the dream of a unified theory of elementary particles with the fundamental forces of Nature.
