How can a video game become a form of witnessing? Starting from the creation of What’s Up in a Kharkiv Bomb Shelter, this talk explores how personal experience can be transformed into interactive storytelling using accessible tools such as Bitsy. It also looks at games as an artistic medium open to everyone – not only professional game developers – and introduces several independent projects created in Ukraine during the war.
