Le donne, i cavallier, gli androidi, gli astronauti, l’audaci imprese io canto… Inizia la nostra avventura, e Trieste diventa la “Città delle Stelle”. Non solo perché vi portiamo nello spazio, ma anche perché iniziamo il festival con due film che pescano a strascico nello Star System di Hollywood. Qualche nome? Ryan Gosling, James Franco, Lucy Liu, Milla Jovovich. BOOM! Iniziamo.

Dopo La La Land, vincitore di sei premi Oscar, Damien Chazelle e Ryan Gosling tornano a lavorare insieme in un film che racconta la storia della missione della NASA per portare l’uomo sulla Luna.
È stato il film di apertura di Venezia 75, e arriva al TS+FF in anteprima per voi con la presentazione speciale dell’astronauta Umberto Guidoni.

Il corpo di Boris Karloff, la creatura di Mary Shelley, la musica degli OvO. Uno dei più grandi miti del cinema di tutti i tempi rivive ancora a distanza di 200 anni. E stavolta rivive di nuovi impulsi elettronici, con una sonorizzazione dal vivo che farà resuscitare anche i morti.

nuthinbutmech.blogspot.com è un serbatoio digitale di meraviglie tecnologiche. Lorin Wood da quasi 10 anni raccoglie e pubblica illustrazioni di diversi autori che scavano a piene mani nel mondo dei mecha, per tirarne fuori quadri virtuali che lasciano a bocca aperta. Fino al 4 novembre al Teatro Miela.

Of ladies, knights, androids, and astronauts I sing, and many a daring feat … This is how the adventure begins and how Trieste becomes the “City of Stars”. Not only because we’ll launch you to space, but also because our festival begins with two movies that dive deep into Hollywood’s Star System. Do you want us to name drop? How about Ryan Gosling, James Franco, Lucy Liu, Milla Jovovich? BOOM! Let’s go!

Boris Karloff’s body, Mary Shelley’s creature, OvO’s music. Science fiction’s foundation myth comes alive again after 200 years, and this time the OvO will give it new electrical noisy impulses that promise to revive the dead!
