Viago, Deacon e Vladislav sono tre vampiri che abitano assieme e cercano di sopravvivere nel mondo di oggi: come tutte le persone normali, devono pagare l’affitto, occuparsi delle faccende di casa e cercare di farsi invitare nei locali notturni… con la differenza che loro sono immortali e devono cibarsi di sangue umano. Quando il loro ultramillenario coinquilino Petyr trasforma Nick, un hipster ventenne, in vampiro, toccherà agli altri fargli da guida in questa nuova vita eterna, ricevendone in cambio alcune lezioni sulla società moderna, la moda, la tecnologia e Internet. Ma sarà l’incontro con l’amico umano di Nick, Stu, che modificherà radicalmente la vita dei vampiri e il loro atteggiamento nei confronti del mondo.
Housemates Viago, Deacon, and Vladislav are three vampires who are trying to get by in modern society; from paying rent and doing housework to trying to get invited into nightclubs, they’re just like anyone else – except they’re immortal and must feast on human blood. When their 8000 year-old-roommate Petyr, turns 20-something human hipster Nick into a vampire, the guys must guide him through his newfound eternal life. In return, they are forced to learn a thing or two about modern society, fashion, technology, and the internet. But it’s the introduction of Nick’s human friend, Stu, that really changes the vampires’ lives and attitudes towards the world around them.
