Sulle strade della California, il giovane Willie incontra Carl, un misterioso individuo in cerca della donna che gli ha disegnato sul corpo una intricatissima serie di tatuaggi. Carl, ispirandosi ai tatuaggi, gli racconta fantasiose storie tra passato e futuro e il ragazzo, ascoltandolo, viene trasportato in tre situazioni temporali diverse, vivendo avventure ai limiti dell’assurdo.

On the streets of California, young Willie meets Carl, a mysterious individual who is looking for the woman that drew an intricate series of tattoos on his body. Carl, inspired by the tattoos, tells him imaginary stories from the past and the future and the young guy, listening to him, is transported to three different time periods, having adventures on the boundaries of absurdity.
