Sul molo dell’aeroporto di Orly, un bambino assiste all’omicidio di un uomo. La Terza Guerra Mondiale è appena cominciata e Parigi viene distrutta da un attacco nucleare. Uno dei sopravissuti, il bambino ormai cresciuto, grazie al ricordo nitido che ha di quell’immagine, viene prescelto per partecipare ad un esperimento di viaggio nel tempo. L’esperimento ha successo, ma l’uomo, innamoratosi di una ragazza, sfida ogni regola pur di ritornare e riuscire a stare con lei.

While at the Orly airport pier, a boy sees a man get shot. Shortly afterwards World War III breaks out and Paris is destroyed by nuclear war. As one of the survivors, the boy, now a grown man, is chosen as part of an experiment in time travel because he has a strong grasp on a moment in the past – the image of the man being shot at the airport. He is successfully sent back in time. But there he falls in love with a girl and defies orders so that he can return and be with her.
