Kaspar Toporski è un giovane regista in attesa di risposte per riuscire a realizzare i propri progetti cinematografici. Così trascorre le sue giornate disegnando, scrivendo e inventando un suo mondo immaginario che giorno dopo giorno sembra diventare sempre più reale. Kaspar discute spesso delle sue idee con Helix, una giovane fotografa ossessionata dalla morte, con Schulz, una sarto interessato alle teorie sulla creazione e sui manichini, e con Bertolt, un suo collega regista che non ha mai superato il fallimento del suo primo film.
Stefano Bessoni è nato a Roma nel 1965. Ha terminato gli studi nel campo delle arti-visive e si è diplomato presso la Scuola di Belle Arti di Roma. Dal 1990 al 1998 ha lavorato come operatore, direttore della fotografia e montatore. Dal 1998 al 2001 ha lavorato con il regista Pupi Avati. Krokodile è il suo secondo lungometraggio, dopo Imago Mortis.

Kaspar is a young filmmaker willing to develop his projects in cinema. He passes his time drawing, writing and making up his own imaginary world, that day by day seems to be getting more and more real. He shares his thoughts with Helix, a young photographer interested in death, with Schulz, a doll maker who is obsessed by the theories about creation and dummies, and with Bertolt, a fellow filmmaker that never got over the failure of his first movie.
Stefano Bessoni was born in Rome in 1965. He finished his studies in arts-visual field and graduated at the School of Fine Arts in Rome. From 1990 to 1998 he worked as a camera operator, director of photography and editor. From 1998 to 2001 he worked with director Pupi Avati. Krokodile is his second feature. The first one is Imago Mortis.
