Lucy, una giovane studentessa, esce dalla metropolitana e scopre che il suo quartiere, Bushwick, è sotto l’attacco di militari in tenuta completamente nera. Un’esplosione uccide il suo fidanzato e Lucy si ritrova sola nel caos dell’invasione. I soldati sparano alla polizia, mentre i passanti vengono abbattuti o caricati su autobus. Intrappolata tra gli invasori e le bande di saccheggiatori, Lucy viene aggredita da due malfattori. L’ex marine Stupe accorre in suo aiuto per poi andarsene. Lucy decide di seguirlo.
Lucy, a young woman on her way home, emerges from a Brooklyn subway to find that her neighborhood, Bushwick, is under attack by black-clad military soldiers. Her boyfriend dies in an explosion, sending her into the chaos of the invasion alone. Soldiers are gunning down police, while pedestrians are either being taken away in buses or shot. Lucy becomes trapped between the invading forces and local looters. An ex-Marine corpsman, Stupe, prevents two thugs from assaulting her, then heads out on his own. Lucy follows him.
