Quattro amici del college si ritrovano per un weekend in una splendida e costosissima villa di Los Angeles appartenente ad Allen, stella emergente della letteratura sci-fi. Mentre Allen descrive la propria vita come idilliaca, i suoi amici, prima invidiosi e poi sospettosi, scorgono le prime crepe nella sua esistenza, carriera e stile di vita apparentemente favolosi. Four college friends hold a weekend reunion at a beautiful and incredibly expensive Los Angeles mansion belonging to Allen, a rising science fiction star author. Painting his life as idyllic, Allen’s envious and then suspicious friends soon start finding cracks in his supposedly fabulous existence, career and lifestyle. As Allen’s story slowly unravels, strange events begin to blur the lines between reality and imagination as his three friends soon learn they are involved in something they never ever signed up for. Terrestrial segna la sua nuova incursione nel mondo del cinema indipendente.

Steve Pink began his career co-writing and co-producing Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity, and went on to direct Hot Tub Time Machine, Accepted, and About Last Night. He has also directed multiple television pilots, including Santa Clarita Diet for Netflix and Wayne for Amazon Prime. Steve Pink partnered with Hurley/Pickle to direct The Wheel, his first independent feature, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Terrestrial marks his next venture into the independent space.
