Summer Eternal made waves last year when we’ve announced a revolutionary new structure – a studio owned not only by founders and investors but by workers, freelancers and even players. We took the Disco Elysium quote “every worker – member of the board” and took it to the next step – “every player – member of the board”. And now, after one year, this lecture will go through how we’ve set this all up and how things have been working out for us – lessons learned and steps for the future.

Summer Eternal ha fatto parlare di sé lo scorso anno quando abbiamo annunciato una struttura rivoluzionaria: uno studio di sviluppo di proprietà non solo di fondatori e investitori, ma anche di lavoratori, freelance e perfino giocatori.
Abbiamo preso la celebre citazione di Disco Elysium – “ogni lavoratore è membro del consiglio di amministrazione” – e l’abbiamo portata oltre: “ogni giocatore è membro del consiglio di amministrazione”.
Ora, a un anno di distanza, questa conferenza racconterà come abbiamo realizzato tutto questo e com’è andata finora – le lezioni apprese e i prossimi passi per il futuro.
