Munro, capo di una squadra di scienziati, che lavora su di una formula grazie alla quale l’uomo sarà in grado di proiettare se stesso nel tempo e nello spazio, viene trovato morto dalla sua segretaria. Investigando sul caso l’ufficiale di sicurezza Maggiore Clarke scopre che due americani e un russo che lavoravano sullo stesso progetto hanno incontrato un destino simile.
