L’azione si svolge nel 1271, alla fine della settima Crociata a Tunisi. Cinque uomini dopo essersi incontrati in circostanze misteriose, decidono di compiere la più venerabile altisonante delle imprese: recuperare la Sacra Sindone, trafugata da alcuni traditori della corte di Francia, alla morte di Luigi IX, il Re Santo. I cinque cavalieri, dunque, compiranno un viaggio arduo faticoso, dalla Scozia ai deserti africani… Un’avventura epica,fantastica ed imprevedibile dalla quale non sarà possibile tornare se non profondamente cambiati.

The film’s action takes place in 1271, at the end of the Crusades in Tunisia. Five men meet in mysterious circumstances, and set out to recover the Shroud of Turin that was stolen by traitors from the Court of France, after the death of Louis IX, the Holy King. The five knights thus make an arduous and tiring journey from Scotland to the deserts of Africa… An epic journey. They won’t be able to come home unchanged.
