The baron, in need of fundamental medical information, kidnaps an ex colleague of him – Dr. Brandt – from a mental hospital. But Dr. Brandt dies on the way and the baron has to transplant his brain to a dead professor’s body. The new creature is a troubled soul trapped in a stranger’s body that is rejected by his wife because of his monstrous appearance and takes his revenge on the responsible of his misfortune, Baron Viktor von Frankenstein.
