The Sci-Fi Classix section brings the great classics of genre cinema back to the big screen and two of
the first unmissable titles have been revealed: the screening of a “vintage” 35 mm copy of Stanley Kramer’s On the Beach, featuring an incredible array of stars (Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire, Anthony Perkins) and a 4K restored copy of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a tribute for the 40th anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s masterpiece starring Richard Dreyfuss, François Truffaut and Teri Garr.
