After a terrible nuclear war planet Metropolis seems to be finally living a stable period of peace, under the honest and wise leadership of the Big Brother, but the evil Lord Graal, after escaping from the satellite prison he has been locked up in by the governor, is seeking revenge. His ace in the hole is Doctor Kraspin who has been freed from the space asylum he had been confined to and can finally give life to his invulnerable creature, gifted with superhuman powers: the Humanoid. After capturing Golob, a gigantic space guardian who has been left alone after some malfunctioning, Kraspin dehumanises him, transforms him into a brutal monster, and uses him to attack Metropolis.
