Another day of unmissable events and screenings is in store on Thursday, October 30 at the 25th Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, which runs through Sunday, November 2.

Day two of the 25th edition of Trieste Science+Fiction, the science fiction festival running through Sunday, November 2, in the capital of the Julian region.

From 28 October to 2 November, under the starry dome of the Politeama Rossetti, great science fiction cinema returns: the 25th edition of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, organised by La Cappella Underground, brings the best fantastic productions to Trieste, with over 50 world, international and national film premieres and three competitions attended by directors, actors and authors from all over the world.

On Tuesday, 14 October, at 7 p.m., the Cinema Ariston in Trieste will host Ai confini – Dialoghi tra fantascienza e biodiversità (At the Edge – Dialogues between Science Fiction and Biodiversity), an event promoted by the National Biodiversity Future Centre (NBFC) – the first national research centre on biodiversity funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU – with the aim of bringing together representatives and professionals working in various cultural fields, including literature and science.

As every year, the short film selections of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival invite audiences on a journey through the many facets of the fantastic and the speculative, weaving together present and future, body and technology, identity and otherness.
