A bit of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival makes it to the Oscars!
In the Best Animated Feature category, we find Arco by Ugo Bienvenu, an extraordinary French animated film that won both the Audience Award and an Honorable Mention from Jury President Gabriele Mainetti at the festival's latest edition.
Mainetti recited on stage at Il Rossetti that the Asteroide honorable mention went to "a film as free as a dream: above the clouds, man surrenders to time and falls like a rainbow. In that fragile and luminous flight lie reflected the memory of the future and the grace of those who still know how to reinvent it."
