A smart science fiction thriller commenting on the ever-growing concern of AI taking all our jobs. Convicted but reformed hacker Kaya enlists a group of co-workers to stay overnight at the office in preparation for the launch of their cleverer, faster, more cognitive version of Chat GPT. Spurred on by their nervous CEO Ethan, they quickly come to realize that the AI they’ve created has its own sinister agenda and a bloody battle begins. Paying homage to iconic cinema of the 1990s and its visual language, each of the tech geniuses must try to outsmart CognAItive in order to survive.
