A full day – Saturday, November 1st at Sala Xenia – entirely dedicated to sci-fi themed board games, role-playing games, and gamebooks, organized by the associations Alea and Costola dei Barbari, together with the gaming bistro In Bocca Al Gioco.

The event will be divided into several time slots (10 AM–1 PM, 1 PM–4 PM, 4 PM–7 PM, 7 PM–10 PM), each featuring a variety of activities, with game tables that can be booked in advance and others dedicated to free play. With the presence of demonstrators and storytellers from the organizing associations, participants will have the chance to try both classic and new board and role-playing games, all with a science fiction theme.

Throughout the day, writer and game designer Andrea Tupac Mollica will be present as the narrator for the cyberpunk role-playing game Hong Kong Hustle, along with Lorenzo “Board Game Physicist” Gentile, a science communicator passionate about physics and board games. There will also be presentations of new titles by various publishers, an open tournament for all, and tables dedicated to interactive fiction, where participants can share in the adventure of a book, collectively guiding the course of the story.

Among other things, in our Galactic Game Library, you’ll be able to try:

Role-playing games: Daggerheart (sci-fi version), CBR+PNK, Never Tell Me The Odds, Fabula Ultima, Green Oaks, Hong Kong Hustle, Dune: Adventures in the Imperium

Board games: Andromeda’s Edge, Mass Effect, Star Wars: Battle of Hoth, Dune: Imperium, Expeditions, Terraforming Mars, Kill Team, SETI, Star Wars: Deckbuilding Game
