The Newcastle-born multi-talent began the new millennium with his groundbreaking debut feature Dog Soldiers (2002) and continued to thrill audiences worldwide with The Descent (2005), Doomsday (2008) and Centurion (2010). Shifting to the high-end television landscape with such popular series as Black Sails, Timeless, Westworld, Lost in Space and Games of Thrones, for which he was Emmy-nominated, Marshall then thundered back to the big screen with Hellboy (2019), The Reckoning (2020) and his latest science fiction action adventure The Lair (2022).
