Ambientata nella campagna americana degli anni ’30 afflitta dalla depressione, la nostra storia si svolge in un passato alternativo in cui ci si aspetta che le ragazze adolescenti compiano un antico rito in cui cacciano e uccidono una bestia mitologica scelta dalla madre, e non saranno accettate dalla società come “donne vere” finché non avranno completato questo sacro rito di passaggio.

Set in the countryside of depression-plagued 1930s America, our tale unfolds in an alternate past where adolescent girls are expected to fulfill a longstanding rite in which they hunt and slay a mythical beast of their mother’s choosing, and will not be accepted by society as a “proper woman” until they have fulfilled this sacred rite-of-passage hunt.
