Vitka è un ragazzo pieno d’immaginazione. La vita d’ogni giorno gli sembra troppo ordinaria e noiosa e lui sogna sempre qualche avventura eroica e straordinaria.
Una mattina sale sul tetto della sua casa e vi incontra un corvo nero che gli si rivela per un mago. Vitka chiede al corvo di trasportarlo in un altra epoca nella quale pensa di partecipare ad una grande avventura.

Vitka is a boy full of imagination. Everyday life seems too ordinary and boring and he always dreams of some heroic and extraordinary adventure.
One morning he climbs to the roof of his house and meets a black crow who reveals himself to him as a magician. Vitka asks the crow to transport him to another era in which he thinks he is participating in a great adventure.
