Nuoc (Acqua) è ambientato in un futuro prossimo in cui le persone vivono in case galleggianti e le multinazionali costruiscono piantagioni sull’acqua dove vengono coltivate le piante, diventate oramai un bene di lusso. La storia è quella di una donna e del suo viaggio per conoscere la verità sulla morte del marito. Scoprirà che le piantagioni celano l’impiego di tecnologie di ingegneria genetica che potrebbero avere ripercussioni pericolose sulla salute. Il ricercatore capo e principale sospetto per la morte di suo marito è il suo ex amante. Si troverà di fronte a differenti versioni della “realtà” e sarà così costretta a prendere una drammatica decisione.

Nuoc (Water) is set in the near future where people live on houseboats. Multinationals compete to build floating farms to produce vegetables that have become priced commodities. The story follows a woman in her journey to find out the truth about her husband’s death. In the process, she discovers that a floating farm employs genetic engineering technology to cultivate vegetables that can have dangerous health consequences, which the farm wants to keep as a secret. The chief scientist and main suspect of her husband’s death was her ex-lover. She ends up finding out different versions of the “truth” and has to make a dramatic decision.
