Per la prima volta nella storia il pianeta terra capta un messaggio in codice dallo spazio. L’umanità intera è terrorizzata all’idea di un’invasione aliena. Alcuni mesi dopo, i dodicimila abitanti di Sepulveda spariscono improvvisamente. La cittadina, zona di passaggio e di scambi commerciali nota per l’attività di contrabbando e i bordelli, viene messa in quarantena. Strani fenomeni luminosi e interferenze magnetiche fanno pensare a un imminente attacco extraterrestre. È così che le autorità affidano al Professor Larsen, noto astrofisico ed esperto di UFO, il compito di condurre una rapida indagine nella città fantasma.

For the first time ever, the planet Earth has picked up a code message from outer space. Mankind is terrified by the idea of an extra-terrestrial invasion. A few months later, the twelve thousand inhabitants of Sepulveda suddenly vanish. This transit and free-trade harbour town, notorious for smuggling and bordellos, is put in quarantine. Magnetic disturbances and light phenomena make military and political leaders think that an extra-terrestrial attack is imminent and order Professor Larsen, a renowned astro-physicist and UFO expert, to make a rapid investigation in the ghost city.
