Un succoso film d’azione e di mostri, ispirato al classico videogame omonimo della Cinemaware degli anni ’80. Un
tributo nostalgico alle pellicole con le creaturone degli anni ’50, It Came from the Desert fa bella mostra di bande rivali di eroi ed eroine in motocicletta, feste nel deserto con litri di birra, basi militari segrete nel sottosuolo, insicurezze d’amore… e naturalmente formiche giganti! La finlandese Roger! Pictures si è associata alla leggendaria Cinemaware, compagnia americana di sviluppo di videogame, per produrre l’adattamento filmico del classico gioco degli anni ’80.

A pulpy, action monster movie, inspired by Cinemaware’s cult 1980s videogame It Came from the Desert. A nostalgic tribute to creature features from the 1950s, It Came from the Desert features rival motocross heroes and heroines, kegger parties in the desert, secret underground military bases, romantic insecurities… and of course giant ants! Finland’s Roger! Pictures partnered with US-based legendary game developer Cinemaware to produce a motion picture adaptation of the classic 1980s game.
