Clementine and Lucas are a couple of French intellectuals living in a house that is completely secluded from civilization, in the heart of the Romanian woods. What appears to be an idyllic stay for both of them soon becomes a real nightmare. They start to receive strange recurrent phone calls until one night, someone or something enters the old mansion.
