Forbidden Planet is the story of a space-crew stranded on a planet called Altair IV, inhabited only by scientist Morbius and his daughter Altaira. The Krel race, the indigenous inhabitants of the planet are now extinct, whilst all the other human settlers have been killed by mysterious beings.
