Un venditore ambulante attraversa la foresta nel suo vecchio carro. E’ attraente, intelligente, affascinante…ma è anche il mostro di cui tutti hanno paura. Il film è basato sulla storia vera di Manuel Blanco Romasanta, che confessò di aver assassinato tredici persone, servendosi del loro grasso corporeo per ricavare sapone. Romasanta fu processato ad Allariz nel 1852 ed evitò la pena capitale affermando di essere un licantropo.

A travelling salesman goes through the forest in his old cart. He is charming, intelligente, fascinating…but he is also the monster that everyone is afraid of. The film is based on the true story of Manuel Blanco Romasanta, who confessed to having killed thirteen people, using their body fat to make soap. Romasanta was tried in Allariz in 1852 and avoided the death penalty by declaring that he was a werewolf.
