“Il futuro è già cominciato”. Con queste parole il futurologo Robert Junkt, ha segnalato l’inizio di una nuova era e di un nuovo modo di pensare più di dieci anni fa. Il BLue Palais è un istituto di ricerca che si occupa principalmente di problemi del futuro. Intorno a Louis Palm, un matematico, che è a capo del Blue Palais, opera un gruppo di giovani scienziati che risolvono dei problemi ch efino ad oggi non avevano avuto soluzione e che sono sempre ad un passo nel futuro.
“il Genio” si incentra sulla biologia molecolare e sulla genetica e con il trasferimento biochimico della memoria ad altri organismi, e narra la storia di un uomo, van Reijn che commette vari strani assassini allo scopo di impossessarsi delle capacità intellettuali delle suo vittime. Quando il campione bulgaro di scacchi Gregor Polipoff viene trovato morto, la biologa Sibilla Jacopescu ha l’incarico di tenere in osservazione van Reijn. Va con lui in Giappone ed è costretta ad assistere all’assassinio del vecchio Mizuguchi, un maestro della pittura giapponese, da parte di van Reijn, allo scopo di poter trasferire a se stesso l’abilità del maestro. Finalmente Louis Palm riesce a smascherare van Reijn in occasione di una mostra d’arte a Venezia e lo obbliga a mettere la sua conoscenza ed i suoi metodi al servizio del Blue Palais.

“The future has already begun”. With these words, the futurologist Robert Junkt signaled the beginning of a new era and a new way of thinking more than ten years ago. The BLue Palais is a research institute that mainly deals with problems of the future. Around Louis Palm, a mathematician, who heads the Blue Palais, operates a group of young scientists who solve problems that until now had no solution and that are always one step into the future.
“the Genius” focuses on molecular biology and genetics and the biochemical transfer of memory to other organisms, and tells the story of a man, van Reijn, who commits various strange murders in order to steal the intellectual abilities of his victims. When Bulgarian chess champion Gregor Polipoff is found dead, biologist Sibilla Jacopescu is tasked with observing van Reijn. She goes with him to Japan and is forced to witness the murder of the old Mizuguchi, a master of Japanese painting, by van Reijn, in order to be able to transfer the master’s skill to himself. Finally Louis Palm manages to unmask van Reijn on the occasion of an art exhibition in Venice and forces him to put his knowledge and his methods at the service of the Blue Palais.
