At <\/span><b>8:00 p.m.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> everyone is invited to <\/span><b>Miela<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for the <\/span><b>Italian premiere<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, in the presence of the producer and in collaboration with the TOHorror Fantastic Film Fest, of <\/span><b><i>\u201cKombucha\u201d<\/i><\/b><b> by Jake Myers (United States, 2025), <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> sci-fi film <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">in which the TV series <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Office<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> meets the direction of David Cronenberg with a healthy dose of corporate satire centered on physical mutations, mental alienation, and corporate perversion. The final screening on Saturday, November 1, will take place at <\/span><b>Miela<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at <\/span><b>12:30 a.m.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> with the <\/span><b>Italian premiere <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">out of competition of<\/span> <b><i>\u201cHold the Fort\u201d<\/i><\/b><b> by William Bagley (United States, 2025), <\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a wild supernatural comedy <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that blends suburban irony with hellish monsters, in which a quiet suburban neighborhood becomes the target of a demonic invasion.<\/span>\n\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are also countless events dedicated to literature: the award-winning science fiction writer <\/span><b>Ted Chiang<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, author of the short story <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cStory of Your Life\u201d <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">which inspired the cult film <\/span><b><i>\u201cArrival\u201d<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by Denis Villeneuve and one of the world\u2019s most influential figures in the field of <\/span><b>artificial intelligence, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on Saturday, November 1, at 5:00 p.m.<\/span> <b>at the Sci-Fi Dome in Piazza della Borsa, she will explore the theme of language alongside linguist Vera Gheno in the discussion \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\"Wor(l)dbuilding\u2014Creating Universes with Words\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Also<\/span><b> Dolki Min, an enigmatic South Korean artist and writer,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> will be in Trieste <\/span><b>on Saturday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, at the Sci-Fi Dome in Piazza della Borsa for the presentation of her novel<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u201c<\/span><\/i><b><i>In forme\u201d<\/i><\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(add editore), a queer, sensual, and caustic book that unmasks our notions of the body, identity, and pleasure, through the clear-eyed perspective of one who is not human.
