The American star is flying in from Los Angeles to see the Italian preview of her latest film Open Windows by Nacho Vigalondo, a technological thriller that has already been called \u201cThe Rear Window of the 21st Century\u201d, in which she plays a famous actress who is being stalked by an unknown psychopath.<\/p>\n
Born in North Highlands \u2013 near Sacramento, California \u2013 on the 14th March 1988, Grey rose to fame thanks to her career as a pornstar which began in 2006, aged 18. By the time she had said goodbye to the porn industry in April 2011, she had become the most famous hard-core porn actress in the world. Having finished in porn, Sasha Grey successfully carved out for herself another career as an actress, playing the lead role in Oscar-winning Steven Soderbergh\u2019s 2009 film, The Girlfriend Experience; as well as starring in Smash Cut \u2013 a film that paid homage to the budget horror cinema of the 70s \u2013 and in the Sci-Fi thriller, The Scribbler. On top of these, she appeared in the TV series Entourage, where she played a fictionalised version of herself. She has also found success in the music and modelling worlds, putting her name to numerous brands (such as Forfex, Manoukian and American Apparel) as well as being photographed by Max Azria, Richard Kern and Terry Richardson; making her a true pop icon of the 2000s.<\/p>\n
