Guess who\u2019s back?<\/strong> Anche quest\u2019anno virus pericolosi, mutanti e stazioni spaziali improbabili tornano in citt\u00e0 per il Trieste Science+Fiction Festival<\/strong>. L\u2019inaugurazione ufficiale \u00e8 segnata dalla cerimonia di apertura<\/strong>, quest\u2019anno per la prima volta nella storia al Politeama Rossetti<\/strong>. Si parte, quindi: un salto nell\u2019iperspazio che trasciner\u00e0 tutta la citt\u00e0 in mondi lontani e inesplorati per 6 giorni.
\nLa data di inizio \u00e8 Halloween<\/strong>, e proprio questa inquietante notte \u00e8 la protagonista del primissimo film in sala, un classico del brivido: \u201cLa notte delle streghe\u201d.

\nQuindici anni fa un bambino vestito da clown uccide brutalmente la sorella. Oggi, e siamo nel 1978, un uomo scappa da un manicomio per perpetrare il suo efferato crimine. Un classico che ha segnato per sempre il genere Horror.<\/p>\n

\nIl marito di Marjorie \u00e8 morto ma lei pu\u00f2 comunque passare le giornate in compagnia di un ologramma con le sue sembianze.

\nMolly \u00e8 una ragazza piena di problemi. Il pi\u00f9 grave? Uno zombi la sta inseguendo. Un solo zombi. Certo, lei \u00e8 pi\u00f9 veloce, ma lui\u2026 non si stanca mai.[:en]\"\"<\/p>\n

Guess who\u2019s back?<\/strong> Deadly viruses, mutants and space stations are in town again for the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival<\/strong>. <\/span>The opening ceremony of the 17th edition of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival will be held at the Politeama Rossetti<\/strong> for the first time in history.
\nThe opening film? Marjorie Prime<\/strong>, by Michael Almereyda.<\/p>\n

Based on the acclaimed play by Pulitzer nominee Jordan Harrison, Marjorie Prime explores themes such as memory, identity, love and loss in the age of artificial intelligence. Interpreted by a cast of the highest level – Lois Smith<\/strong>, Jon Hamm<\/strong>, Geena Davis<\/strong> and Tim Robbins<\/strong> -, Marjorie Prime<\/strong> made its debut in January at the Sundance Film Festival<\/strong>, where it won the Sloan Feature Film Prize, a prize given to the best films dealing with topics such as science and technology.<\/p>\n

The program, however, starts even before the opening ceremony, with a revival of the 1978 film by John Carpenter<\/strong> \u2013 Halloween<\/strong>, at 5pm at Politeama Rossetti.<\/p>\n

On the Halloween night of 1963, in Haddonfield, Illinois, a young woman gets stabbed to death by a little boy dressed as a clown. Fifteen years later, a criminal and sociopath named Michael Myers<\/strong> escapes from Smith\u2019s Grove Sanitarium. Dr. Sam Loomis suspects Myers will return to Haddonfield to kill again.
\nA nightmarish cinematographic experience with a (literally) immortal incarnation of pure evil and the original \u201cscream queen\u201d Jamie Lee Curtis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The program for the day ends with the screening of It Stains the Sands Red<\/strong>, at 10.15pm at Politeama Rossetti.
