Case study – Science Doc Day<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At the crossroads of science and audiovisual: \u201cTerra incognita\u201d<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over 3 years in production, about twenty locations scattered throughout Europe, an international work of linguistic experimentation which recounts two radical ways to overcome global energy crisis. Director Enrico Masi will talk about the genesis and making of his last documentary, now in post-production.<\/p>\n

Trieste Science+ Audiovisual: Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Two of the research centres based in Trieste present themselves to the professionals attending the festival for potential co-operations: their missions, their locations, the researches, their audiovisual productions, the facilities and opportunities they offer.
\nElettra Sincrotrone Trieste \u2013 the most powerful synchrotron now operating in Italy \u2013 is a multidisciplinary research centre of international excellence, specialized in generating high quality synchrotron and free-electron laser light and applying it in materials and life sciences. In this meeting, the centre Area Science Park is a national public organization, created in 1978. It manages its own Science and Technology Park of Trieste \u2013 the most important in Italy and one of the foremost in Europe, with 65 operating players: 57 high-tech companies (9 of them startups), and 8 national and international research centres, focusing on scientific sectors such as life sciences, new materials, ICT, nanotechnologies and environment.<\/p>\n
