Doppio appuntamento con Stefano Zattera in occasione del Trieste Science+Fiction Festival <\/b>per la presentazione di IL BUCO NOIR \u2013 Earl Foureyes Mutant Detective.<\/b><\/p>\n

Dal 20 ottobre <\/b>presso <\/b>La Mediateca de La Cappella Underground, in Via Roma 19, saranno esposte le tavole a colori e il 31 ottobre 2020 alle ore 19, presso il Bar Libreria Knulp, si terr\u00e0 l’inaugurazione dell’esposizione delle tavole originali alla presenza dell’artista per un incontro col pubblico.<\/p>\n

Il Buco Noir<\/strong>
\nNella Nazione Lattea, sottomessa al regime consumista superburocratico, Earl Foureyes si trova a indagare su un serial killer che semina morti in ogni pianeta. Il detective mutante cercher\u00e0 anche di aiutare i Supereroi messi al bando dal Superburocrate. Intanto nella galassia avvengono continui attentati terroristici rivendicati dagli ZOMO, gli Zombie Maoisti di Orione. Tutte le vicende si intersecano e arriveranno a una risoluzione durante il concerto-evento epocale della Pop-star e predicatrice intergalattica Lady Matanga.<\/p>\n

Questo libro rappresenta una serie di sfide personali.<\/p>\n

– Realizzare, finalmente, una storia lunga, corposa e articolata, un vero e proprio romanzo\/film a fumetti.
\n– Fondere in un\u2019unica storia i generi che pi\u00f9 mi appassionano. Noir, triller, fantascienza, supereroi, western, pulp, erotico, distop\u00eca, weird, psichedelia e action.
\n– Unire tutti miei personaggi e i miei mondi in un unico universo. L\u2019universo Zattera.<\/p>\n

Questa \u00e8 un’avventura di Earl Foureyes in cui appaiono anche molti dei miei personaggi e citazioni da altri fumetti, illustrazioni e quadri. Un affresco che vuole legare con un filo conduttore tutto il mio immaginario. Fin dalle mie prime storie di Fouereyes, Baby Burger, Pinocchio e in seguito Cowgirl e Superburocrate, l\u2019idea era quella di creare tra loro un legame. Nonostante il divario visivo e temporale tra i personaggi, il lavoro a lungo termine era quello di farli rientrare in un universo comune. C\u2019\u00e8 sempre stata \u2013 a volte anche a mia insaputa \u2013 una connessione tra i soggetti dei miei lavori. Quindi, in via teorica, prima o poi tutti questi personaggi avrebbero potuto convivere in un\u2019unica storia. Ecco, \u00e8 questa.<\/p>\n

Stefano Zattera
\n1965. Fumettista, illustratore, pittore e scrittore. Il suo immaginario \u00e8 ispirato da illustrazioni e fumetti degli albori dell\u2019era atomica. Inizia il suo percorso con l\u2019autoproduzione\u00a0Delirio<\/i>\u00a0e continua, nel tempo, a collaborare con varie realt\u00e0 del fumetto indipendente da\u00a0Interzona<\/i>\u00a0a\u00a0Puck<\/i>. From October the 20th\u00a0<\/strong>at the\u00a0<\/strong>La Mediateca de La Cappella Underground, in Via Roma 19, the coloured illustrations will be on display, and on the 31st<\/sup> of October at 7pm, at the Bar Libreria Knulp, there will be the opening of the exhibition with the original tables; the author will be there to meet the public.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>In the Milky Nation, subjected to a super-bureaucracy consumerist regime, Earl Foureyes, the mutant detective, is investigating into a serial killer who sows death all over the galaxy, but he will also have to help the Superheroes banished by the Super-bureaucrat.<\/p>\n

In the meanwhile, the galaxy is riddled by repeated terrorist attacks claimed by ZOMO, the Maoist Zombies of Orion. All events merge together and come to a conclusion during the epochal concert of the Pop-star and intergalactic preacher Lady Matanga.<\/p>\n

An interview with\u00a0Stefano Zattera<\/strong>:
\nThis book represents a series of personal challenges.
\n\u2013 To realise, finally, a long story, complex and articulated, a real comics novel\/film.
\n\u2013 To merge in a single story the genres I love the most. Noir, thriller, science fiction, superheroes,, western, pulp, erotic, dystopia, weird, psychedelia and action.
\n\u2013 To put all my characters and worlds in one universe. Universe Zattera.<\/p>\n

This is an adventure of Earl Foureyes where many of my characters and quotes from other comics, illustrations and paintings appear. A portrait that sets out to connect all my imaginary. Since my very first stories with Fouereyes, Baby Burger, Pinocchio and later on Cowgirl and Super-bureaucrat, the idea was to create a bond between them. Despite the visual and temporal gap between the characters, my long-term project was to incorporate them in a common universe. There has always been \u2013 at times without my knowledge \u2013 a connection among my work\u2019s protagonists. So, theoretically, sooner or later all these characters could have lived together in a single story. And here it is.<\/p>\n

Stefano Zattera
\n1965.\u00a0 Comics writer, illustrator, writer and painter, his imaginary finds its inspiration in the illustrations and comics of the atomic era\u2019s early days. His work starts with the self-production \u201cDelirio\u201d and continues with collaborations with various sectors of the world of independent and non-independent comics, from\u00a0Interzona<\/em>\u00a0to\u00a0Puck<\/em>.
