Alcuni soldati della Terra, che nel futuro \u00e8 sotto dominio dei Dalek, tornano indietro nel tempo per assassinare l’uomo ritenuto responsabile di aver messo in moto la catena di eventi che ha portato all’invasione aliena. La trama suddivisa in quattro episodi riesce a catturare l’attenzione, e gli Orgon, una razza aliena al servizio dei Dalek, rappresentano un’innovazione riuscita.<\/p>\n

Pertwee’s first encounter with the Daleks, in what has been termed a ‘minor classic’, again saw them successfully conquering the Earth. From a story by Louis Marks (with a nod to Harlan Ellison’s Demon with a Glass Hand), soldiers from a future Earth controlled by Daleks travel back in time to present-day Britain to assassinate the man they hold responsible for setting in motion the series of disastrous events that ultimately led to the Dalek invasion. Although the Daleks themselves are arguably underused in this four-part story, the narrative is strong enough in itself to hold the attention, and the Ogrons, an alien race who serve the Daleks, are a commendable innovation.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text el_id=””]<\/p>\n
