Chi si nasconde dietro a quelle creature cos\u00ec spaventose, terrificanti e stranamente belle? Uno che ha preso dimora nei luoghi da cui tutti fuggiamo e ha vissuto in mezzo a tutto ci\u00f2 di cui abbiamo paura. Che ha fatto emergere in superficie ci\u00f2 che avremmo preferito seppellire. Per tutta la vita, HR Giger ha abitato nel mondo del prodigioso, un tetro universo sull\u2019orlo di innumerevoli abissi. Non ha plasmato questo universo degli orrori per piacere, ma perch\u00e9 non aveva altra scelta. Per quest\u2019uomo affabile, umile e divertente, era il solo modo per tenere le proprie paure sotto controllo. Giger ha tratteggiato i nostri incubi, disegnato le mappe del nostro subconscio e modellato le nostre paure primarie.<\/p>\n

Who is the artist HR Giger? What kind of person is behind such terrifying and disturbing yet aesthetic forms and beings? He feels at home in places we would flee from and lives his life among the very things we fear. He brings to the surface everything we try to suppress. Throughout his life, HR Giger had inhabited the world of the uncanny, a dark universe on the brink of many an abyss. He did not create this world because he held it dear, but rather because he had no other option. It was the only way this amiable, modest and humorous man was able to keep his fears in check. Giger charted our nightmares, drafted maps of our subconscious and moulded our primal fears.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text el_id=””]<\/p>\n
