Ripercorre le scelte dettate dal \u201cprogresso\u201d: generalmente accettate con entusiasmo dalla gente, ma in principalmente imposte da chi decide sulla base di visioni miopi o secondi fini. L\u2019allarme era gi\u00e0 stato dato agli inizi della \u201cet\u00e0 industriale\u201d; la consapevolezza dei disastri ecologici \u00e8 datata, accurata e ben documentata. Non possiamo dire: \u201cNon lo sapevo.\u201d Ma come distinguere,\u00f9 fra le diverse tecnologie, il diverso impatto che hanno sui cambiamenti climatici? Una storia che dobbiamo capire e analizzare, per modificare di conseguenza il nostro stile di vita.<\/p>\n

Breakpoint tells a 200-year-long story. Two centuries of industrial and economic revolutions, from the times of coal mining to the Big Data era. The story relies on the choices dictated by \u201cprogress\u201d, usually accepted with enthusiasm by the people, but mostly decided with a short-term vision or a hidden agenda by the deciders. Since the beginning of the \u201cindustrial age\u201d, many whistles have been blown. The awareness of ecological disasters is old, keen and documented. We cannot say that we did not know. But how can we distinguish the share of responsibility in the climate change between different technological choices? A story we need to figure out and analyze to be able to change our lifestyles.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text el_id=””]<\/p>\n
