The Rossetti theatre (also known as Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia) is going to be the new main location of the upcoming edition of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival.
The Rossetti theatre is going to be the new main location of the upcoming edition of the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival. The festival, organized by La Cappella Underground, is scheduled to take place between October, 31st, and November, 5th.
Since 2012, the Sala Tripcovich has been the home of Trieste’s film festivals. Now, after its closure, the Trieste Science+Fiction and the Trieste Film Festival will be hosted at the prestigious location of the Rossetti theatre, thanks to the collaboration of the municipality of Trieste. The news was made official on September, 11th, during the press conference held by the theatre to present the 2017/2018 season.
In addition to the new location, other events of both festivals will also take place, at it is tradition, at two other location, the Miela theatre and the Casa del Cinema of Trieste.
