A una festa affollata in un appartamento parigino Sam incontra l’ex-fidanzata e decide di andarsene subito. Pero prima vuole recuperare la sua collezione di musica, che è ancora nell’ufficio; decide quindi di aspettare che le acque si calmino. Quando si sveglia la mattina dopo e apre la porta, scopre che tutti gli ospiti si sono trasformati in affamati zombi… loro come il resto della popolazione parigina, con gli ultimi sopravvissuti che stanno morendo giu in strada. Sam è relativamente al sicuro: ha rinchiuso i sanguinari ospiti nei loro appartamenti e trasformato il resto del signorile edificio nella sua isola privata, con scorte di cibo e un kit completo di sopravvivenza. Ma quanto a lungo potrà sopportare il silenzio e la solitudine?

A busy party in a Paris townhouse. Sam says goodbye to his ex-girlfriend and then wants to get out as fast as possible – but not without his music collection, which is still in the office. So he decides
to wait until things have calmed down. When he wakes up the next day and unlocks the door, it turns out all the party guests have been transformed into bloodthirsty zombies. Along with the rest of the French capital, where the last normal people are dying in the streets. Sam is relatively safe indoors. He locks the snappy-jawed undead in their apartments – the rest of the chic building becomes his own private island, crammed with food and survival tools. But how long can he stand the silence and solitude?
