Nel 1960 un’unità di paracadutisti francesi è inviata in Algeria per cercare un aereo che si crede sia precipitato da qualche parte nel deserto. Il relitto dell’aereo viene presto trovato, ma non ci sono sopravvissuti, solo una valigetta con la scritta: Top Secret. Attaccati da soldati nemici, i paracadutisti si rifugiano in una strana cittadella abbandonata. Qui risvegliano involontariamente i Djinns, gli spiriti maligni del deserto.
Sandra Martin e suo marito Hughes Martin sono due sceneggiatori e registi francesi. Dopo varie esperienze nel campo televisivo e dei video-clips musicali sono approdati al cinema. Djinns è il loro primo lungometraggio.

In 1960, a unit of French paratroopers is sent to Algeria to look for a plane that is believed to have crashed somewhere in the desert. The plane’s wreckage is soon found, but there are no survivors, just a briefcase bearing the words: Top Secret. Attacked by enemy soldiers, the paratroopers take refuge in a strange abandoned citadel. Here they unwittingly awaken the Djinns, the evil spirits of the desert.
Sandra Martin and her husband Hughes Martin are two French directors and screenwriters. After some experience in television and music video-clips have come to the cinema. Djinns is their first feature film.
