Hung ha 8 anni e ha perso la sua mamma. Una notte, mentre ammira le stelle pensando a lei, avvista una pioggia di meteoriti tra i quali si nasconde una navicella spaziale. L’alieno al suo interno ha le fattezze di una bambina e si chiama Maika. I due diventano subito amici, e Hung le promette aiuto per farla tornare a casa… Una divertente, toccante, buffa avventura cosmica vissuta attraverso gli occhi di un bambino regala al cinema vietnamita il proprio E.T.!
Based on the Slovak-language sci-fi TV series created in 1978 that became a cultural sensation in Vietnam and itself founded on Czech writer Václav Pavel Borovička 1967 book. Eight-year-old Hung just lost his mother. One night, while gazing at the sky and thinking about her, he witnesses a meteor shower in which an alien spaceship is hiding. The extraterrestrial inside looks like a young girl called Maika. They soon become friends, and Hung promises to help her get back home… A funny, touching, zany cosmic fantasy adventure seen through the eyes of a child giving Vietnamese cinema its own E.T.!
