La vita di Dezzy Donahue è dura: una volta richiestissima per le sue macabre copertine e i suoi angoscianti dipinti, oggi alterna il lavoro a nottate tutte alcool e droghe pesanti sulle strade di Los Angeles. Di recente, tuttavia, Dezzy sembra non essere in grado di disegnare nulla e il suo blocco creativo sta avendo effetti disastrosi. A prendersi cura di lei è solo Clive, una sorta di fidanzato che è chiaramente più innamorato di lei di quanto lei non lo sia di lui. Qualcosa deve pur accadere. E quel qualcosa arriva grazie al suo spacciatore sotto forma di una potente nuova droga chiamata “Bliss”, fatta di cocaina e DMT. Naturalmente, Dezzy non si fa pregare e la prova subito: ed è allora che tutto cambia.

Dezzy Donahue lives life hard. A once in-demand artist known for her macabre album cover designs and nightmarish paintings, she complements her work with heavy drugs and long booze-fueled nights in the streets of Los Angeles. Lately, though, Dezzy can’t seem to draw anything, and her creative dry spell is having disastrous effects. The only person in her corner is Clive, the quasi-boyfriend who clearly likes her more romantically than she likes him. Something’s got to give. And thanks to her trusty drug dealer, it does in the form of an intense new drug called “Bliss,” one made up of both cocaine and DMT. Naturally, Dezzy jumps at the opportunity to sample it — and that’s when everything changes.
