A.D. 2017, terzo anno dell’era Friend, il presidente Friend domina l’umanità. Dopo che Tokyo è stata devastata da un virus mortale, la città viene circondata da un muro e gli abitanti sono costretti a vivere sotto stretto controllo. Friend annuncia che in agosto gli alieni distruggeranno l’umanità e solo coloro che crederanno in lui si salveranno… ma è in atto un piano per fermare Friend.
Yukihiko Tsutsumi (Giappone, 1955) debutta nel 1980 e si trasferisce negli USA, dove gira numerosi videoclip, tra cui Homeless, con Yoko Ono. Nel 1994 diventa membro della “Office Crescendo production company”. Nella sua filmografia si ricordano Crying Out Love… (04) e Memories of Tomorrow (06).

It is Friend Era Year 3, 2017 A.D., and World President Friend rules humanity. After a deadly virus ravages Tokyo, a wall is built around the city and inhabitants’ lives have been severely restricted. Friend tells everyone that on August, aliens will destroy mankind and only those who believe in him will be saved… but a movement to stop Friend is in motion.
