Al termine di un’altra giornata di lavoro in una libreria rinomata per la sua vasta scelta di titoli rari, si presenta un misterioso cliente dicendo di aver viaggiato in lungo e in largo alla ricerca di un libro e di aver sognato di trovarlo in questa libreria. In seguito a questo strano episodio si scopre che nel magazzino tutti i libri sono stati sostituiti da migliaia di copie di uno stesso volume che non ha autore né editore, ma un semplice “1” come titolo.
Pater Sparrow (Zoltán Verebes, Ungheria, 1978). Diplomato alla London Film School, si è poi specializzato in production design ed è regista di numerosi corti. 1 è il suo debutto cinematografico che gli è valso numerosi premi all’Hungarian Film Week.
At the end of another working day in a bookshop renowned for its vast collection of rare works, a mysterious customer suddenly appears, claiming to have travelled the globe in search of a book that he dreamt of being in this shop. In the storeroom they discover that all the books have been replaced by thousands of copies: they have all been replaced by a book with no author and no publisher that carries the simple title “1”.
Pater Sparrow (Zoltán Verebes, Ungheria, 1978). A London Film School graduate, he specialized in production design and is the director of several short films. He debuted in cinema with 1, winner of several awards at the Hungarian Film Week.
