After being exposed to a radioactive mist whilst on a boat trip with his wife, Scott Carey discovers that his weight and height have dropped considerably. As days go by his condition worsens. In despair, he isolates himself from the real world, writing down his memories, seeking a soul mate in the form of a dwarf, and finally going to live in a doll’s house. He continues to shrink in size, and when finally considered dead, gets accidentally locked in the cellar where he’ll face his final battle for survival.
