On Halloween night 1963, in Haddonfield, Illinois, a young woman get stabbed to death by a small boy dressed in a clown costume and mask. 15 years later, criminally sociopath Michael Myers escapes from Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. Dr. Sam Loomis suspects Myers will return to Haddonfield to kill again. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Halloween defined a genre and launched an iconic franchise which endures since 1978. A nightmarish cinematographic experience with an immortal (literally!) incarnation of pure evil and the original “scream queen” Jamie Lee Curtis.
