A devastating 30-year-war is followed by famine and pestilence with feudal tyrants ruling a downtrodden population. Then come members of a new order who conquer the neo-medieval Everytown and trasform it into a scientific utopia. By 2036, plants are being made to send the firs humans to the moon. however, the artistic community believe such acts to be interfering with the natural order and they organise a mass revolt to stop the ponder the rights and wrongs od such scientific endeavours and to consider the choises deft to mankind.
